“Democracy is not something that is learned, but rather something that is practiced.” Global Communities Palestine Country Director Lana Abu-Hijleh talks about the Youth Local Council (YLC) initiative and how it is providing a platform for youth to voice their opinions, support local government and prepare themselves to become leaders in their communities.
