November 14th marked the final day of a three-day food distribution in the West Bank. This initiative was in partnership with the World Food Program (WFP) and falls under the donation of multiple donors including USAID and aid from the Canadian and Russian governments. Distributions take place once every three months. Beneficiaries first register their names and then receive food packages that contain wheat flour, vegetable oil, salt, sugar and chickpeas.
Global Communities has  been working continuously in the West Bank and Gaza since 1995 and since 2005 has been a leading provider of humanitarian assistance programs providing critical services for thousands of unemployed, vulnerable families. In partnership with the UN World Food Program, Global Communities implements the largest food-for-work and food-for-training program in the region.
