San Diego Agencies Host Community Conversation on Marijuana PCI and CHIP convene parents, service providers to discuss new marijuana laws and child safety.
SAN DIEGO—PCI’s Healthy Start Community Action Network and CHIP (Community Health Improvement Partners) Public Policy Committee will convene representatives from health, social service and education sectors to help families learn about new marijuana laws and child safety. Presenters will discuss the role parents can play in protecting children’s safety and preventing marijuana exposure in different settings, as well as legal implications for use of marijuana where children may be present. Brief presentations and a panel discussion will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the community.
