IntraHealth’s open source iHRIS system tracks detailed information about health workers, including where they are deployed, salary history, promotions and transfers, qualifications, in-service training courses, and reasons for attrition, as well as open positions and applicants. This technical brief presents results and lessons learned from Kenya’s deployment of iHRIS to improve decentralized management of its health workforce.
