Raven Yeargin

Raven is a Licensed Midwife (LM), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and the heart behind Blackbird Birthing. Known for her “kitchen table” approach to care, Raven blends her background as a formal educator with her deep roots in herbalism to provide families in the Inland Empire with holistic, evidence-based support.

Raven’s path to midwifery was deeply personal, shaped by her own high-risk pregnancy and her courageous journey as a two-time cancer survivor. These experiences solidified her belief that birth is a sacred miracle and that every birthing person deserves a provider who acts as a “sage” rather than a boss.

She is a firm believer that the relationship between a midwife and a family is the key to safety and empowerment. By centering the entire family—including partners and siblings—Raven ensures that her clients aren’t just “delivered,” but are transitioned into parenthood with confidence. Guided by her faith and a commitment to closing the Black maternal mortality gap, Raven serves as “Heavenly Father’s hands on earth,” welcoming new life with equal parts clinical skill and maternal warmth.
