Economic Growth Project in Montenegro (video)
Economic Growth Project was designed with the aim to improve opportunities for economic development in northern Montenegro. Through measures that were implemented in 13 municipalities in the north (Andrijevica, Berane, Bijelo Polje, Danilovgrad, Kolasin, Mojkovac, Niksic, Plav, Pljevlja, Pluzine, Rozaje, Savnik, and Zabljak), the project provided assistance to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, local tourist organizations, business support service providers as well as municipal governments in order to facilitate increased private sector growth. Activities were aimed at capacity building and strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises in agriculture, agribusiness and tourism and the improvement of business environment at the municipal level. The project was implemented by Global Communities and U.S.-based subcontractor RTI International from October 2010 to June 2012.

Projekat ekonomskog razvoja je osmišljen sa ciljem da poboljša mogućnosti za ekonomski razvoj sjevera Crne Gore. Putem mjera koje su sprovođene 13 opština sjevera (Andrijevica, Berane, Bijelo Polje, Danilovgrad, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Nikšić, Plav, Pljevlja, Plužine, Rožaje, Šavnik i Žabljak), Projekat je pružao pomoć mikro, malim i srednjim preduzećima, lokalnim turističkim organizacijama, pružaocima poslovnih usluga i lokalnim samoupravama u cilju razvoja privatnog sektora. Aktivnosti su bile usmjerene na razvoj kapaciteta i jačanje konkurentnosti preduzeća u poljoprivredi, agrobiznisu i turističkom sektoru i na unapređenje poslovnog okruženja na opštinskom nivou. Projekat je realizovao Global Communities u saradnji sa RTI International od oktobra 2010. godine.
