Remembering Wrenn Turpin
Published 12/03/2018 by Global Communities
We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Wrenn Turpin, an early volunteer for Project Concern International and the beloved wife of our founder. Wrenn served as a dental hygienist in one of our mobile clinics in Tennessee in the 1970s, providing oral care to children and families who had no access to care. Wrenn would often dress as “Raggedy Ann” to make children who have never been to the dentist before more comfortable.
Our hearts go out to Dr. Turpin, their daughters and their grandchildren on this tremendous loss. Wrenn will forever have a special place in the heart and history of PCI.
